The RECG proudly presents its newest partner: Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield!
Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield is a European commercial real estate company that specializes in shopping centers and other retail properties. Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield has a large portfolio of properties across Europe and the United States, with a focus on high-end retail and entertainment destinations. Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield has a significant presence in the Netherlands, where it owns and operates several major shopping centers.
Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield is the leading global developer and operator of Flagship Destinations, with a portfolio worth €54.5 billion as of December 31, 2021, of which 86% is in retail, 6% in offices, 5% in convention and exhibition spaces, and 2% in services. The Group currently owns and operates 85 shopping centers, including 53 Flagships in the most dynamic cities in Europe and the United States. Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield is present on two continents and in 12 countries, providing a unique platform for retailers and brand events and offering an exceptional and constantly renewed experience for customers. With the support of its 2,800 professionals and an unparalleled track record and expertise, Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield is ideally positioned to generate superior value and develop world-class projects.
Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield distinguishes itself through its Better Places 2030 agenda, which sets out its ambition to create better places that respect the highest environmental standards and contribute to better cities. Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield shares are listed on Euronext Amsterdam and Euronext Paris (Euronext ticker: URW), with a secondary listing in Australia via Chess Depositary Interests. The Group enjoys a BBB+ rating from Standard & Poor’s and a Baa2 rating from Moody’s.
One of Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield most prominent properties in the Netherlands is the Westfield Mall of the Netherlands, which opened in March 2021. The mall is located in Leidschendam, near The Hague, and features over 280 shops and restaurants, as well as a cinema and other entertainment facilities. In addition to its retail properties, Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield is also involved in several development projects in the Netherlands, including the transformation of the Amsterdamse Poort shopping center in Amsterdam-Zuidoost into a mixed-use development with residential, office, and retail space.
URW is committed to sustainability and environmental responsibility in all of its operations, and its properties in the Netherlands are no exception. For example, the Westfield Mall of the Netherlands features several sustainable design elements, such as a green roof and energy-efficient heating and cooling systems.
The project in the background of this post is called Sisters, located in the heart of La Défense (Paris) next to the Grande Arche. Sisters is an ambitious mixed-use project designed by French architect Christian de Portzamparc that will provide occupants with modern services and amenities. The highest tower of the two will include next-generation offices offering loggias and gardens – unique for a high-rise building. The lower tower will be home to an upscale hotel. One hundred metres above ground, a suspended bridge will link the two towers and offer exceptional amenities: a business centre, a restaurant and sky-bar, a gym and a swimming pool. A terrace will also be available, allowing occupants to enjoy breathtaking views of La Défense.
The RECG is looking forward to further cooperation with European commercial real estate company Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield. For more information regarding Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield you can take a look on their website: https://www.urw.com/en
