The applications for the committee of the Young Talent Event 2023 are now open!
As part of the Young Talent Event commission, you organize the largest student real estate event in Northern Netherlands! This event provides students with a link to the business world by giving them the opportunity to work on interesting cases and come into contact with large companies in the real estate industry. The Young Talent Event committee will roughly last from February to October. Since it is about half a year, a position within the committee of the Young Talent Event is the ideal opportunity to see if a position within an association is something for you! Being part of the Young Talent Event Commission brings many benefits, it allows you to expand your network by coming into contact with major players in the real estate industry, it allows you to develop professionally and the commission can serve as a stepping stone to working life. In addition, you will meet many new people with the same interest.
The positions within the Young Talent Event commission are:
Chairman
If you want to learn more about the real estate world, make contacts and improve your CV, then this commission might be interesting for you. As chairman, you are responsible for organizing the Young Talent Event together with four others. As chairman, you are responsible for your group and the final result. You have the control and there is room to realize the most diverse ideas. The event takes place in September and it will cost you about 5 hours a week, of course this depends on the phase in which the organization is in.
Treasurer
As treasurer of the Young Talent Event commission, you are responsible for the finances of the Young Talent Event. It is your task to manage the money and to solve the financial problems that come with the event. The event will take place in September and until then it will take a few hours per week depending on the phase in which the organization of the event is in.
Marketing/Student Relations
As Marketing & Student Relations, you are responsible for promoting the Young Talent Event. You can express your creativity in making posters, the program booklet and other marketing-related things. In addition, you are responsible for contact with the students. This means that you are the point of contact for the students and the medium between the students and the Young Talent Event. Experience with Adobe Photoshop & Indesign for this function is not a requirement, but is a pro. The Young Talent Event will take place in September and will, depending on the phase in which the organization of the event is in, take a few hours per week.
Company Relations
As Company Relations, you are responsible for acquiring (new) sponsors for the Young Talent Event. You are the link between the interests of companies and students and ensure that the offer matches the expectations of the participants. Due to the broad base and interest of the participating students, it is important that the disciplines are represented. The event will take place in September and the time required will depend on the phase of the event organization.
Planning & Logistics
Are you interested in the business world within real estate or do you want to further stimulate this interest? Do you want to expand your network by coming into contact with major players in the real estate market? Then a place within the Young Talent Event Commission is something for you! With the Planning & Logistics function, you arrange a beautiful and suitable location, you are responsible for the planning of the day itself and you help keep track of the finances for the event. The Young Talent Event will take place in September and will, depending on the phase in which the organization of the event is in, take a few hours per week.
