Ilse van der Veen

Hello all! My name is Ilse van der Veen, I am 23 years old, and I will fulfill the Marketing position this year. I grew up in the small Frisian town Oosterwolde and have been living in the beautiful Groningen for six years now! I have spent these years following and completing the two bachelors Human Geography & Planning and Spatial Planning & Design. From an early age on I have been interested in planning and buildings. During the bachelor’s my interest in real estate and project development was even more sparked, therefore the choice for the master’s in Real Estate Studies was quickly made.

The RECG  is the perfect place to expand my real estate knowledge and to be in contact with professionals and fellow students. I am looking forward, especially at this time when the COVID-19 virus is affecting us all, to bring students and the real estate world in contact with each other. I believe that personal contact is more important than ever and that is why I feel extra motivated to realize this through the Marketing position. Despite the obstacles that are caused by this corona crisis, I am convinced that together with the students we will make it a successful year!
